The American Pit Bull Terrier, known as the Pit Bull Terrier or simply the Pit Bull, is one of two breeds descended from the Staffordshire Terrier. Pit bulls were originally bred for dog fights. The owners needed only victories, and therefore the animals that were most valued were strong, stubborn, hardy and aggressive. Hence the stories about the bloodthirstiness of these dogs. Pit Bull Terrier is a muscular, mobile dog with powerful jaws and low sensitivity to pain. The nature of this breed depends solely on the method of education. An inexperienced dog breeder, a gambling and indefatigable pit bull will “crush” by himself, and he will reciprocate an excessively aggressive one. Differences from Corgi Pembroke:
