Tosa Inu is a breed of Japanese dog, bred at the end of the nineteenth century to participate in dog fighting that was popular at that time. Akita, bull terrier, bulldog, Great Dane and mastiff became the source material for the formation of this breed of active and ruthless fighters. They love the owner, literally idolize him, however, from the first days of the puppy’s stay in the house, you should not take him to bed and feed him until people have dinner – you must gently but persistently show the dog that the leader has this pack, and the Tosa Inu there is no chance to take his place. Animals love walks, outings, jogging with the owner. In the city of dogs of this breed it is necessary to walk exclusively on a leash and in a muzzle – this is a prerequisite. A puppy should be accustomed to these items of his “wardrobe” from the first months to prevent a possible protest. The breed is quite rare, it is not popular because of the fear of people to get too aggressive a dog. Few people understand that the behavior of the animal largely depends on the correctness of the upbringing and the desire of the owner to devote a lot of time to training and education.
Each owner wants to see his dog healthy, active and cheerful.
